Aarti Dahiya Pune IT Architect, Alums of IIM Indore wins a title of Mrs. Maharashtra State Ambassador 2023

New Delhi (India), February 12: In a dazzling showcase of beauty, grace, and intellect, “Aarti Dahiya” corporate professional with 17 years of IT experience, won the title of “Mrs. Maharashtra, State Ambassador” in a prestigious Mrs.  India, “One in Million” 2023.  

The Mrs. India, One in Million, Beauty Pageant is an incredible platform that displays beauty, talent, and intelligence from outstanding contestants across the country. With the aim of women empowerment, it provides a national and international platform, where women can dare, dream, and dazzle, showcasing their talent and strength. Director of One in Million Beauty pageant and the organizer of the show Mr. Prashant Chowdhary and Ms. Swati Dixit stated that out of 2713 women gave audition 73 were selected as Finalists. Out of 73 exceptionally talented married Indian women finalists, 8 finalists competed from Maharashtra. Being shortlisted with them itself is a hallmark Aarti’s caliber. 

Aarti’s participation showcases the art of balancing, resilience, and strength of modern women. Aarti has been graduated as an engineer in telecommunications, master in finance, and holds many certifications in the latest technology like cloud and data. She is holding a position of Lead IT Architect in a global bank and has 17 years of experience in the telecom and banking industry. She has worked with global teams across the different parts of geographies. Her childlike curiosity makes her a continuous learner and motivates her to try and learn new things. With her successful career in technology, she has now acclaimed fame in beauty pageant. 

“Success is not a destination. It is a continuous journey. Continuous momentum and passion are the optimum fuel and support from friends and family is a vital part for success.” She said.

The trust from family and friends encouraged her to come out from the world of IT profession and motherhood and showcase her talent on the platform of beauty pageant.” – She expressed. 

With her stunning performance, grace, and charm, she won the title of Mrs. Maharashtra State ambassador. 

The Mrs. India 2023 Beauty Pageant celebrates beauty with intellect through its rigorous selection process that emphasizes brains alongside physical appearance. The auditions, a rigorous screening process lasted nearly an hour per participant, encompassed multiple rounds designed to assess charm and confidence alongside the intellect and talent of the contestants. It included probing questions on general knowledge about the country, motivations for participation, admiration for women achievers, and insightful viewpoints on pressing societal issues.

Following the extensive auditions, Aarti underwent multiple rounds focusing on her talent, cultural finesse, and physical fitness. The most challenging part of the journey included mastering the art of walking gracefully in 6-inch heels and enduring physical discomforts such as swollen feet and bruises. Aarti expressed that due to her chronic condition, Lupus wearing heels for a longer period was difficult. She explained- LUPUS is an Autoimmune disorder, where a person looks fine from outside but internally in Lupus antibodies are killing and attacking healthy cells, causing an impact to knee joints, kidney, heart, brain, eyes, hair and skin. It is not widely known in India, and she aims to build a community to increase its awareness and share her experience to motivate all those people who are fighting with chronic illness.

After three days of rigorous training, Aarti transformed herself from a corporate woman into a graceful fashion model, showcasing her talent as she approached the grand finale. With her positivity attitude and strong determination, Aarti has overcome all the challenges and wore a crown of Mrs. Maharashtra state ambassador.

Mrs. India – one in a million platform provided her an opportunity to showcase her skills and enhance her personality”, – She said.

As a mother of a 6-year-old boy, she ensures that she spends enough time with her son and family. She emphasis in today’s fast changing and demanding world, time-management, prioritization, and delegation are the tools for modern women to create work life balance, while turning her dreams into reality too. She feels becoming a parent is a wonderful opportunity to embrace your childhood again and learn things that someone has been missed earlier. She is pursuing many interesting hobbies with her son and learning swimming, horse riding, and music at the age of 38. 

Because of her son, she became a story yoga teacher, an intuitive way of teaching morals and responsibility to children. Teaching yoga is now her second profession. She runs summer camp and hosts free sessions in government schools as part of her corporate social responsibilities. “Spending time with children is a best way to de-stress yourself from your daily routine” – She expressed.

With her experience, she wants to encourage working women to learn new things and pay attention to their physical and mental health while leaving aside a feeling of mother guilt. A happy mother raises a confident child and a healthy family. Her dream is to build a network of strong sisterhood where every woman stands for another woman, a safe world where she can spread her wings and pursue her dreams without a fear of judgments.
